Will responded quickly to a query about replacing old sash windows in our late Victorian terraced house.
We wanted something to match the style of the old windows but to be double glazed, draught proof and made of real wood. He seemed to share our vision, was enthusiastic about the job and, after ensuring he had a full understanding of what we wanted, came up with a quotation. Having had a similar job done in London relatively recently his price seemed reasonable.
He was honest about the time we would have to wait until he could slot us in. In due course the job was started slightly earlier than we expected, and completed in a timely fashion. We were pleasantly surprised by the lack of disruption, particularly in respect of the front bay window which he and his colleague managed to fit in one day.
All the windows looked great and the installation seemed to go without any hitches. Throughout the process Will was friendly and informative. Once the windows were fitted he returned to complete all the restitution around the interior walls. A small problem with the sash mechanism on one window was immediately rectified. His recommendation of a painter to apply the finishing touches provided an excellent conclusion to the work.
In every respect the work was efficiently and effectively done. We were very happy with the quality of the materials and his attention to detail, and feel the new windows have made a great improvement to the house.
